In these Terms, references to “we” or “us” are to Grape Expectations Wine Merchants Ltd, a company registered in the UK (registered number 12835245 ) whose registered office is at 7 Penn Road, Hazlemere, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, HP15 7LN. Our registered VAT number is GB – 358497248.
We will not sell or deliver alcohol to anyone who is, or appears to be, under the age of 18. By placing an order with us, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and we reserve the right not to sell or deliver if we are unsure of this.
The placing of an order anywhere on our website does not constitute a contract. A contract is made only when we accept your order and process payment.
We reserve the right not to accept any order.
All goods are offered subject to availability. We cannot guarantee the availability of specific products or vintages.
Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:
- The product(s) you ordered being unavailable from stock
- Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment
- Our inability to verify that you are aged over 18
- The identification of a pricing or product description error
Our wine is a delicious and popular agricultural product and so availability may be limited sometimes. Our website checks stock against our central warehouse system at the time of purchase so is not guaranteed as accurate in all circumstances.
In the event that a product is unavailable after an order is placed, we will contact you to arrange replacement, or another acceptable arrangement for the completion of your order.
Delivery is available throughout the UK. Several local towns and villages near our store(s) qualify for free next day local delivery for orders over £60. All other addresses and for orders under £60 will be subject to our delivery charges. Click & Collect
Order online or via telephone with our store(s) and collect from store with a free next-day collection service. Our store(s) will contact you when the order is ready to collect. Please indicate if you would like to collect your order directly from the store, by selecting this option in the checkout when ordering.
All our prices are inclusive of UK duty and VAT. Promotional offers and prices are as stated, with no further discounts available.
Although we endeavour to ensure that all pricing information on our sites are accurate, occasionally an error may occur and goods may be mis-priced. If we discover a pricing error we will, at our discretion, either: contact you and ask you whether you wish to cancel your order or continue with the order at the correct price; or notify you that we have cancelled your order. – We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price across our sites.
We reserve the right to adjust prices, offers, goods and specifications of goods at our discretion at any time before (but not after) we accept your order. Where an end date is specified on any offer on the website, it is intended as a guide only. We reserve the right to change prices at any time.
We will provide a full refund or replacement for any wines that are faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights.
In the event of goods being faulty, please return to any Grape Expectations store for a replacement or refund, goods must be rejected within 7 working days beginning the day after receipt of the goods. If you have any queries regarding faulty goods please email email@example.com.
Cancellations & complaints
You may cancel your order at any time until 7 working days, beginning the day after receipt of goods. Should you decide to cancel, all charges to you will be refunded as soon as the goods are returned in a saleable sealed condition to your nearest store.
In the event of complaint, please contact the store concerned if it refers to a particular order. Alternatively email firstname.lastname@example.org giving as much detail as you can. All complaints will be acknowledged within 48 working hours and you can expect a full resolution of your complaint within a further 3-5 working days. You will be kept informed if there is any delay beyond this. Each complaint will be treated as confidential and will be attended to by a senior manager or director.
Privacy and Security
We want you to shop with us with total confidence. All personal information collected at time of ordering is transferred from our website into our secure database and facilitates the process when you come to order again. Our secure server software fully encrypts all your personal information including credit / debit card number, name and address. None of this information is made available to third parties.

None of the above Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
